For those of you with the old Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS stick and/or WCS Mark II throttle, you know how programing these beasts can be a pain in the ass (not to mention time-consuming). So I have decided to make my files available to you. Enjoy.

To use the definition files, unzip them to your 'b50progs' directory. I assume you've read the FLCS and/or the WCSMK2 manual(s) for how to load them.

Having trouble loading under Windows XP? Here's how:

• Format a blank floppy, being sure to check the box labeled "Create an MS-DOS startup disk."
• Copy the follwing files from your TM folder on your hard drive to the new floppy:
  • Any file that starts with B50, and if you have the WCS, any file that starst with MK2.
  • DO NOT include the folders with all your files, as they won't fit on the disk.
  • Make sure you get "B50LOAD.EXE" and "MK2LOAD.EXE"
  • "KEYTEST.EXE" (so you can test to make sure the upload was successful)
  • "EDIT.COM" from "C:\Windows\System32" (so you can read/edit the files while you're in DOS mode).
  • Create a folder called "b50progs" on the floppy.
  • Or, you can skip the above, download this, and extract onto a floppy.
• Copy ONLY the files you want to upload to the stick, and put them in the "b50progs" folder you just created (or unzipped).
• Reboot the computer, with the floppy in its drive. You may have to set your BIOS to look at the A: drive before the C: in order to boot from the floppy.
• At the command prompt, type (without the quotes): "b50load a:\b50progs\XXXX.b50" where "XXXX" is the name of the file you want to load.
• Follow the instructions like you normally would.
• If you have a WCS attached, the program should also automatically ask if you want to load the program into the throttle.
• Once you're back at the prompt, remove the floppy and reboot. That's it.
