2) Do as you were asked and get the mods. Bring them back to Chellick and he'll be so pleased he'll give you a spare mod for helping.

Here are the locations of all of them. (If you start in the Tower, this is also a relatively efficient way to get them all.)

Schells the Gambler

Varren Meat

How to Get: After you've cleared the immediate geth threat, return to base and Talk to Davin Reynolds inside the pre-fab structure.

How to Complete: Head back up the stairs where you cleared the geth, go past the elevator and down the stairs into the Tunnels. Follow the tunnel and take your first left. In this room to the west are a bunch of varren. Kill them, including the Alpha Varren. The Meat will automatically be looted. Return to Zhu's Hope and give the Meat to Gavin Reynolds. How to Complete: Leave the Administration Office and go northwest across the Plaza. Enter the Hotel Lobby and Talk to Lorik Qui'in. He wants you to get some data out of his office. You can disable the security systems at the Synthetic Insights office by hacking a terminal upstairs here in the Hotel. Leave and go south across the Plaza. Take the corridor to the west and use the elevator to enter Synthetic Insights.
Upon entering, you'll be confronted by some guards. You can get them to leave peacefully with You're here illegally, or you can fight them by saying You can't take us. In either case, you'll have to fight a second set of guards as you make your way upstairs and to the office at the end of the walkway to grab the data. On your way out, Kira Stirling tries to stop you, and you'll have to kill her no matter what you say. When you exit the elevator back in Port Hanshan, Gianna Parsini stops you and asks you to meet her in the Hotel Lobby and speak to her before speaking to Lorik Qui'in. You then have some choices:

2) Go to the Hotel Lobby, snub Gianna and go directly to Lorik Qui'in. He'll give you the Garage Pass.
3) Snub both Gianna and Lorik, and present the evidence to Anoleis in the Administration Office. You can then blackmail him, and he'll give you the Garage Pass and a bunch of credits.
4) Go to Anoleis in the Administration Office, and tell him Gianna is an undercover agent. He'll call her into his office, and they'll both be killed in the shootout. Loot the Garage Pass from Anoleis's corpse.

Smuggling

How to Get: Talk to Opold just to the right of the entrance to Port Hanshan from Customs.

How to Complete: Opold wants you to smuggle in a package for him. Tell him either See it my way or Tell me or I won't help to learn that the package is for a krogan bounty hunter name Inamorda. Go back to the Docking Bay, and pick up the package near the Normandy. There are several ways to finish this:
1) Simply go back to Opold and give him the package for the promised credits. You can then say either You needed me or I hope that's a joke to double your reward.
2) Go back to Opold and tell him you're keeping the item. You'll get an upgrade item. Return to the Docking Bay, and you'll have to fight Inamorda and his gang.
3) Take it directly to Inamorda in the Hotel Lobby. He'll admit he was paying Opold too much and is happy to pay you less. For more credits, tell him either This is worth more or Be serious.
4) Take the package to Administrator Anoleis in the Administration Office. If you go this route, you'll never be able to buy anything from Opold. Aneolis will give you some credits and the Garage Pass. He'll also take the item unless you say either I'll keep the upgrade or The upgrade is mine. This option also means you can't do the "Lorik Qui'in" Assignment.

UNC

Asari Diplomacy (Investigate Mercenaries)

How to Get: Available after you've completed one of the major plot worlds (Feros, Noveria, or Therum), there are two (2) ways of getting this:
1) When you approach the Citadel, you may receive a transmission from an asari diplomat requesting your assistance. Go to the Citadel: Presidium: Embassy Lounge and Talk to Nassana Dantius.
2) Go to Artemis Tau Cluster: Macedon System, and Land on Sharjila.

How to Complete: If Nassana Dantius gave you the Assignment, follow step two. There is a base to the north guarded by Pirates. Kill them all, then go inside and kill everyone there. Upstairs, access a desk, and you'll get information proving Nassana set you up. Return to Citadel: Presidium: Embassy Lounge and Talk to Nassana. She confesses, but gives you a reward anyway. If you tell her I've got a better deal or Credits won't cut it, She'll give you the Armali Council Liscence.

Asari Writings

How to Get: The first time you use Survey and find an Asari Matriarch's Writings.

How to Complete: You'll need to Survey a bunch of places to complete this. Some are on the surfaces of planets, some you get when you Survey a planet. There are more than enough to complete the Assignment.

Besieged Base

How to Get: Fill 75% of your Paragon Bar. When you access the Galaxy Map, Admiral Hackett will radio you and give you the assignment. You can refuse the assignment by telling him That's not my problem.

How to Complete: Go to Hades Gamma Cluster: Cacus System, and Land on Chohe. Drive the Mako to the nearby Science Station. Enter, and kill all the biotics. You get more Paragon Points for not letting any civilians die, only a few if between one and four die, and some Renegade Points if you kill more than four civilians. Assigning your squadmates positions out of the way will help.

Cerberus

How to Get: Complete "UNC: Missing Marines." When you return to Rear Admiral Kahoku in the Citadel: Tower, he'll leave. Upon leaving the Citadel and going anywhere else, Joker will play a message for you from Kahoku, and you get this Assignment.

How to Complete: Go to Voyager Cluster: Yangtze System, and Land on Binthu. There are three facilities you must infiltrate. Each is guarded by two heavy turrets on the outside. Inside, you'll have to kill the guards, then release their test subjects and kill those as well. You can tackle them in any order. The last facility will have Admiral Kahoku's corpse in the force field. Examine the body, and that will complete this Assignment, and start "UNC: Hades' Dogs."

This quest can sometimes bug out and become uncompletable, as Kahoku's body never appears. Therefore, I recommend starting by destroying all six turrets before entering any of the buildings. Save in a seperate slot before entering the first one. Clear out all three buildings, and if indeed his body doesn't appear, reload the earlier save and start at a different building. If necessary, do it again, starting at the building you haven't tried first yet. It is also possible that you missed one enemy in one of the buildings, so it may be worthwhile to revisit previously cleared buildings to double-check that they are indeed empty.

Colony of the Dead (Investigate Samples)

How to Get:
1) Head to Maroon Sea Cluster: Matano System, and Land on Chasca.
2) On Feros, in the ExoGeni Headquarters: Upper Level, Access a server node to learn about a connection between ExoGeni and Cerberus. This leads you to the planet above.

Once on the surface of Ontarom, go south and find an underground facility guarded by Mercenaries. Clear them, then go inside. In a back room is a soldier named Toombs holding a gun to the Doctor's head. You can talk Toombs down with This isn't Justice, shoot the Doctor yourself with Let me do it, or shoot Toombs yourself with [Shoot him]. Admiral Hackett will debrief you the next time you access the Galaxy Map on the Normandy. He doesn't seem to have a problem with however you chose to resolve the situation.

How to Complete: Go to Argus Rho Cluster: Gorgon System, and Dock with the Unidentified Space Facility. Make your way through the cargo hold. Note how you got through the maze of cargo crates, because you'll need to get out in a hurry. The room to the north of the bridge has a Terminal where you can learn why there are rachni on the ship. In this room are also some Demolition Charges. Set them off and run back to the Normandy. You probably don't have time to kill all the new rachni that have appeared in the cargo hold.

Derelict Freighter

Espionage Probe (Investigate Shipments)

How to Get:
1) On Feros, Access a computer inside the pre-fab structure.
2) Go to Voyager Cluster: Amazon System, and Admiral Hacket will give you the Asssignment.

How to Complete: Go to Voyager Cluster: Amazon System, and Land on Agebinium. Drive northwest in the valley you're in and enter the Mining Tunnels. In a room in the back is a nuke, and you need to disarm it. There's a timer, but it doesn't run while you're playing the minigame to disarm each of the three hardpoints. You can also use Omni-Gel on each hardpoint. When you're done, a bomb goes off blocking the way you came in, but opening up another. Back out on the surface, cautiously aproach the Mercenary Camp down the hill and pick off the Mercs. Even though they were trying to kill you, someone was kind enough to move the Mako over here for you, and you can run down and hop in to use its gun on the bad guys, if you prefer.

ExoGeni Facility (Investigate Facility)

Geth Incursions (Geth Activities)

How to Get:
1) On Feros: ExoGeni Headquarters: Upper Level, Access a Terminal.
2) Go to Armstrong Nebula and Admiral Hackett will ask you to eliminate all the geth in the region.

How to Complete: You have to visit four planets in four systems and elimiate all the geth on each one. This opens up a fifth system and a fifth planet to complete the Assignment. After each is clear, one of your characters will mention that this is so.
1) Vamshi System: Maji. The geth ouptost is due north of the landing zone.

How to Complete: You'll need to Survey a bunch of places to complete this. Some are on the surfaces of planets, some you get when you Survey a planet. There are more than enough to complete the Assignment. There are four different types of minerals (Gas, Light, Heavy, and Rare). This list just shows locations and doesn't differentiate.

X57: Bring Down the Sky

Go to Exodus Cluster: Asgard System. The only place you can land is Asteroid X57. The goal is to extinguish the three Fusion Torches that are propelling the asteroid toward an inhabited planet. You're told there's limited time, but there actually is no time limit!

The first torch is just east-northeast from the landing zone. Approach and destroy the six turrets sourrounding the building. Inside, kill some batairans and some varren, then head upstaris and decript a console to disable the torch. On your way out, Simon will take a shot at you. He'll tell you about some missing engineers, (see "X57: Missing Engieers," below) and give you more details about the situation.

For the second torch, stay in the same valley and head around the mountain to the northeast. This torch is also surrounded by turrets, but even worse, it's surrounded by mines. You'll have to get out of the Mako and go in on foot. If you get too close to a mine, you blow up. The Mako can't even get close (approaching from higher ground and trying to jump over doesn't work.) There are some batarians around the entrance, but you won't be able to take them with the Mako, as they'll hide until you approach them on foot. The blasting cap control is outside. Hit it to disable the mines, then head inside and clean up. Again, the torch control is upstairs.

The thrid torch is just over the ridge to the northwest. Again, clear it out and hit the switch. On your way out, a batarian named Charn strikes up a conversation with you. You can fight him and his cronies, or get him to leave peacefully with Forget Balak or Don't be stupid. Even if you say the Renegade option, you still get Paragon points if Charn leaves peacefully. Regardless, you'll wind up with the code to open the main facility.

Northeast from the thrid torch is the Main Facility. It too has a bunch of turrets around it. Inside, you'll again fight several batarians and drones. When they're all dead, Balak appears and strikes up a conversation with you. He reveals that he has all the hostages rigged to blow up. You have a choice: Let him go to save hostages or Attack him.

If you let him go, you've got a 10-minute timer in which to defuse three bombs. There's one downstairs north of where Balak appears. The other two are upstairs, one on the east side, and one on the west in the Medical Bay. You'll have to fight some drones as you run around defusing. The prisoners are in a cell on the lower level west side. Speak to them when you've freed them.

If you choose to attack Balak, he'll set off the bombs, killing all the prisoners. When you finally down him, you can choose to let the Alliance deal with him or just kill him.

On your way out of the building, Simon meets up with you. No matter the outcome, he'll thank you for your efforts. As a reward, he offers you an item of your choice.

X57: Missing Engineers

After you disable the first Fusion Torch, a man named Simon Atwell will approach you. Among other things, he'll tell you about some members of his engieering team who are missing. First head nortwest from the first Fusion Torch. At the top of the ridge is a Transmission Tower. Using a computer inside will put the locations of three survey sites on your map.

Southwest of the Transmission Tower is the first Survey Site. Search the corpse to check off the name of one of the engieers you're looking for. The second Survey Site is southeast of the First Torch, at the top of a hill. Again, examine a corpse to check another name off. The last site is in the northwest corner. There's no one here. Instead, there are some footprints leading east...where you'll find the last corpse.

When you've found all three engineers, you'll want to inform Simon of their fate. If you're not done with the main mision, finish it, and Simon will appear at the end. If you have already finished it, he'll still be in the Main Facility.

Virmire

Assisting Kirrahe's Team

How to Get: Virmire is available after you've completed two of the major plot worlds (Feros, Noveria, Therum). When you start the assault on the base, this Assignment is automatically added to your log.

How to Complete: During your run on Saren's base, there are four things you can do to help the other team.
1) From the start of the mission, go north. Up on the platform is a Console you can use to disrupt communications.
2) Continue west, and you'll come to another platform. Shoot the Sattelite Uplink Tower.
3) At the next fork, go north, and shoot the Fuel Tanks. Also destroy all the drones in the area.
4) Once inside the entryway of the base, you'll come to a Security Console. You then have a choice to handle some extra geth yourself with They've got enough trouble, or send them to Captain Kirahe with They can handle it. If you choose the Renegade option, Kirahe won't survive the mission.

Assuming Kirahe's team survives, you'll meet them on the Normandy in the Cargo Hold, and you can buy stuff from their quartermaster. They'll disappear the next time you land anywhere.

Wrex and the Genophage

How to Get: You must have recruited Wrex. When you get to the Salarian Camp, Captain Kirahe and all your team mates mention that you should talk to Wrex.

How to Complete: Talk to Wrex. He's pissed that you want to destroy Saren's "cure" for the Genophage. You can talk him down with the Charm or Intimidate options. Or, you can either kill him yourself or signal Ashley to kill him. If you've completed "Wrex: Family Armor," it makes it easier to talk him down.

Your choice has serious consequences in ME3.

Squad

Garrus: Find Dr. Saleon

How to Get: The third time you Talk to Garrus in the Normandy: Vehicle Bay, he'll tell you about a crook who got away. This reveals a ship on your Galaxy Map.

How to Complete: Go to Kepler Verge: Herschel System, and Board the MSV Fedele. Make your way through the ship and kill the crazed test subjects. The room south of the bridge is where Dr. Saleon is hiding, though he now calls himself Dr. Heart. Regardless of whether Garrus is in your party, or how you choose to deal with the situation, you'll end up killing the bad doctor. Talk to Garrus on the Normandy to push him back to C-Sec or away from it.

Tali and the Geth

How to Get: At the end of "UNC: Geth Incursions" Assignment, you can dowload some data off a terminal on Solcrum.

How to Complete: Once back on the Normandy, go down to Engineering and Talk to Tali. You can choose to give the data to her with All right and Take it, or refuse with I can't take that risk.

Wrex: Family Armor

How to Get: You can optionally get this the third time you talk to Wrex. Otherwise you'll get it automatically when you land on Tuntau and enter the base due south of the landing zone.

How to Complete: Go to Argos Rho Cluster: Phoenix System, and Land on Tuntau. Drive due south from the landing zone, and you'll come to a base. If Wrex is in your party when you enter, he'll tell you about his Family Armor. Clear out the base of bad guys, then head upstairs and open the locker. You'll get the armor. If Wrex is in your party, he'll take it. If he's not in your party, you need to head back up to the Normandy: Vehicle Bay to give it to him.
