• I know you didn't ask for it, but I've finished my novelization of Mass Effect 2. Enjoy. Or don't.
• Some things to keep in mind: 1) It's a rough draft. Very rough. 2) 95% of the dialog is verbatim. I've tried to make it less video-gamey, but it's still somewhat awkard. 3) There is less action than a normal playthough. Hopefully this is more interestting than video-game combat. 4) This is not your Shepard. This isn't even exactly how I nomrally like to play the game. It just made sense from a narrative viewpoint. 5) This is in no way canon. It's just one way to tell the story.
