- Well, I've gone and done it. I've written a novelizaiton of Mass Effect 1. It's in two parts: Mass Effect - Book 1.pdf and Mass Effect - Book 2.pdf Enjoy. Or don't.
- Some things to keep in mind: 1) It's a rough draft. Very rough. 2) 95% of the dialog is verbatim. I've tried to make it less video-gamey, but it's still somewhat awkard. 3) There is less action than a normal playthough. Hopefully this is more interestting than video-game combat. 4) This is not your Shepard. This isn't even exactly how I nomrally like to play the game. It just made sense from a narrative viewpoint. 5) This is in no way canon. It's just one way to tell the story.
- Yes, I am working on novelizaiton of ME2, but it'll take a while.

- I've received a couple of requests to update my Mass Effect guides. Unfortunately, I run far too many mods to make that practical. The kinds of mods that change things in missions. Timings, choices, that sort of thing. I did update my list of recommended mods -- but that's as far as I'm willing to go.
- By the way, after 18 years, it only just now occured to me to google if there's a real-life mass effect. There is. And I have to wonder if the developers of the game knew about it before naming their game, or if there's some hidden meaning that I'm just too dense to pick up on.
